What is lino printing?

Lino printing is a reduction technique that carves away a design into a linoleum block. Ink is then rolled or pressed onto the surface of the block and it is then used as a stamp to create impressions on a surface. The resulting handmade prints are called linocuts or linoprints, and every artwork is unique.

With this versatile print form you can create something wonderfully detailed or fantastically graphic and bold.

In my workshops I combine my background as an art educator and my passion for lino printing, to encourage people of any skill level to tap into their own creativity.
